Money
Personal finance, by pay day

See the month before you spend it.

Your bank tells you what is there now. Money shows what will still be there after rent, cards, subscriptions and everything else has had its turn.

Let your AI assistant work from the real numbers.

Connect a compatible assistant to Money through a private, OAuth-protected MCP server. It can read your live plan, answer questions in context and mark an exact payment paid or unpaid when you ask.

  • 01 Your assistant sees only projects your account can access.
  • 02 Access requires an active Pro plan and an authorized MCP token.
  • 03 Write actions are narrow: payment status changes, with the item and date made explicit.

Why Money is different

A calendar first.
A calculator second.

Most finance apps organise the past. Money is for the awkward stretch between this pay day and the next one—the part where timing matters as much as totals.

01

Your real money month

Start on the day you are paid, whether that is monthly, weekly, fortnightly or every four weeks. Every outgoing lands in the period where it actually affects you.

02

Balance, day by day

See the running balance after each payment—not one optimistic total that ignores what is still due.

03

Messy bills welcome

Override a variable payment for one month, split it across dates, or add something unexpected without rewriting the plan.

04

Borrowing in context

Loans, instalment plans and credit-card minimums sit beside everyday bills, on the dates they leave your account.

05

Made for households, too

Keep separate projects for personal money, a shared household or another budget. Invite the people who need the same view without mixing every account together.

Your first ten minutes

Three facts in.
A calmer month out.

1

Choose your pay day

That date becomes the first day of your money month, so every forecast matches the rhythm of your life.

2

Add what repeats

Salary, rent, subscriptions, loans and cards. Add each one once; Money places future occurrences for you.

3

Check the low point

Follow the running balance, mark payments as they clear, and see what is genuinely available before next pay day.

Enough detail, no busywork

It remembers the plan. You handle the exceptions.

A

Regular income

Salary raises can begin on a chosen date, so old periods stay accurate.

B

Recurring payments

Change one month, split a bill, skip an occurrence or mark it paid.

C

Payment plans

Enter the purchase once and put every instalment in the right month.

D

Loans and cards

Track balances, APR, minimums and repayment progress alongside cash flow.

E

One-off spending

Add the thing you did not plan for and see its effect immediately.

Questions, answered

The practical bits.

Does Money connect to my bank?

No. You enter the balances and payments you want to track. That keeps the setup simple and puts you in control of the data.

What if a bill changes every month?

Keep its normal amount as the default, then override a single month whenever the real figure arrives.

Can two people manage the same budget?

Yes on Money Pro. Invite a partner as an editor or a read-only viewer, so both of you work from the same current plan without sharing a password.

What happens when I look at an earlier period?

Money re-evaluates that period using the plan you have now while retaining recorded paid and skipped occurrence state. It is useful retrospective planning, not an immutable accounting ledger.

Can I use more than one currency?

Yes. Choose a project base currency and record supported currencies. Money fetches reference exchange rates and shows when they were last refreshed.
